Our wine Vale Barqueiros – Tinto 2015 Garrafeira (Limited Edition) was on the list of winners in the 2019 edition of Grande Escolhas Vinhos & Sabores.
More than 100 awards were handed out in the various categories: sparkling, white, rosé, red and fortified.
Several references were awarded in each category, but only one managed to win the Grand Prix title. Among the big winners were suggestions from Bairrada, the Vinho Verde region, Alentejo, the Douro and Madeira.
The choices were made by a panel of judges made up of 60 people, including journalists, sommeliers, store owners and critics. More than 380 references were blind-tasted. The participants tasted the proposals and gave them scores. In the end, everything was put together to give the final result.
