Drinking responsibly is important to us.
Are you of legal drinking age in your country?
In the Herdade de Vale Barqueiros, you now have the opportunity to make your own wine.
With several varieties available, you will be able to choose what you want and combine them in the quantities you desire, thus creating your wine batch.
In this first phase, the creation of individual lots, you will have the help of our team of winemakers for guidance, clarification, advice and suggestions.
This very team will accompany the whole process until bottling, to ensure an excellent quality of your wine.
In the end, the lots are placed in new French oak barrels (casks of 225 litres) to intern and age between 3 and 9 months, depending on your intentions.
In a second phase, the proof of wine takes place, and then the bottling.
At this point, the labels to apply on the bottles will be chosen by the “creators” of the wines, with the support from our designers.
The bottling should happen when the wine it will be finished and aproved by future owners. The wine must remain on the bottles until 1 months after bottling, to be ready to be picked up. At this time the labelling and packaging take place.
